Podscasts:


A podcast (or non-streamed webcast) is a series of digital media files (either audio or video) that are released episodically and often downloaded through web syndication. The word replaced webcast in common vernacular due to the fame of the iPod and its role in the rising popularity and innovation of web feeds.

Wiki:


A wiki is a website that allows the creation and editing of any number of interlinked web pages via a web browser using a simplified markup language or a WYSIWYG text editor. Wikis are typically powered by wiki software and are often used to create collaborative works. Examples include community websites, corporate intranets, knowledge management systems, and note services. The software can also be used for personal notetaking

It is a tool that is part of a methodology for teaching work that is guided research, with funding mainly from the Internet, which promotes the use of higher cognitive abilities,cooperative work and the empowerment of students and includes an authentic assessment .

Hot Potatoes is a system to create learning exercises that can be done later via theweb. The exercises are the type that creates short answer, multiple choice, fill in the blanks, crossword puzzles, matching and varied.

Forum:

Course Description:

This course has been designed for a public HighSchool.Especifically for the first grade and students of different social classes.

The class will be developed in five days a week  two hours every day. Three of those , the class is going to be developed at the classroom and the next 2 days in the to work with english softwares and special activities.

The resources will used here are:  PC's , Textbook: Teens club.Audiovisual resources etc.

 eartial valuations will be made once a week and Unit evaluations once a month.

Course Objectives:

At the end of the course, students will be able to developd the four Linguistics skills. and sustain a basic conversation in English. They are going to be aware of the respect sense for the cultural aspects of the people who speak the target language .
